Frontier Pets CEO Simon Pothecary says, “Being recognised for excellence is not new for the team at Frontier Pets. Our track record of securing prestigious awards, including the coveted Telstra Best of Business award in 2022, highlights our team’s dedication to manufacturing, innovation, and delivering the highest-quality pet food for our customers.”
The Australian Small Business Champion Awards offers a unique opportunity to highlight Australia’s most outstanding small business, recognising the hard work that business owners contribute to the local community in generating employment for millions of Australians, as well as their contribution to the Australian economy.
“We always appreciate the acknowledgement and recognition of our industry peers,” says Founder, Diana Scott. “Every single award reminds us how good our products processes are.”
“This is the second time we have won this award,” continues Scott. “I particularly love this one because it’s such a prestigious and comprehensive program that supports and recognises small businesses across Australia. We’re competing with other businesses of the same stature, so it’s extremely encouraging to receive this recognition.”
“Frontier Pets is proud to manufacture 100% Australian made pet food while staying true to our values and mission,” says Scott “Yes, we’re a manufacturer and we produce extraordinary pet food, but we’re more than that; we are a pet food company with purpose. We use only 100% ethically sourced ingredients supplied by Aussie farmers practicing sustainable agriculture in our recipes.” says Scott.
To date Frontier Pets have procured over eight million dollars of sustainably grown produce and served over seven million meals to Aussie pets.
“When we first started the business in 2017, we were producing around 1,000 kilos per month. We’re now up to nearly 3,000 kilos per day. Pet owners today are looking for the best possible food for the health of their pets and a way to make a meaningful contribution to the health of our planet.”
“Our pets are the second largest consumer of factory-farmed protein globally. We’re on a mission to end factory farming and believe that our pets can play a substantial role in this. Our beloved pets can literally change the world with their diets.” says Scott.
Frontier Pets unique freeze-dried raw pet food is not just a favorite of Australian families. The brand is also growing in popularity among customers overseas. Frontier Pets CEO Simon Pothecary confirms, "Frontier Pets is making significant strides both domestically and internationally. With a robust customer base in Australia and expanding exports to key markets like Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore, our brand's growth trajectory is strong,” says Pothecary. “Making our extraordinary raw pet food available to more households around the world is key to achieving our mission. Our commitment to quality and ethics will always be uncompromising, and we look forward to receiving many more industry awards in the future!”
